Walk through the Bible Garden

In May, 2011

Marsh redesigned our Children's gardens to make more room for each plant

and make if possible for children to work in the garden more easily.

At the same time Marsh created a Walk through the Bible Focus.

Come walk with us in a virtual tour!

1. BEGINNINGS: the Fall, Jacob...

God created everything that is, including human beings.

But it was not long before the first people turned from God,
as we all do in our turn.

We feel ashamed, and want to hide fro God and fro ourselves!

Then we must leave the Garden of Eden for the world of work & suffering,
as the thistles remind us.

Generation after generation, we see the fall re-enacted
as Esau, for example, trades his birthright for a bowl of lentil chowder.

The Hebrew Bible recounts an unending string of tragic sins
and repentance by God’s people,
and the ever-faithful forgiveness from God
giving us one more fresh start.
